Home Maintenance Information

Antenna & Satellite Installation

Doorbell/Intercom

Information from a local electrician is that over the years, the doorbell box on the outside of the home can become deteriorated from sun and heat and may need to be replaced if it is not working properly ~ homeowners have reported doorbells ringing at random and continuously. The doorbell and intercom run on a low-voltage transformer most likely located in one of two places a) on a garage wall; or b) in the attic/crawl space of your roof - mounted on a roof joist just above the attic access door. The transformer box is approximately 3 inches square and there are probably two transformers ~ one for the house number lights and one for the doorbell/intercom

Weed Control

If you put down a pre-emergent in October and January, you should have minimal problem with weeds. If you did not, make sure you receive regular visits by your landscaper to remove weeds. This is especially critical during the summer months when many homeowners leave the community during the hot summer.
